Technicqll Rigid Plastic Glue 20ml

Technicqll Rigid Plastic Glue is a colourless, waterproof adhesive for bonding hard plastics. It partly dissolves the surfaces it bonds and joins them by "cold welding", so the joint is much like a welded one. It fills small gaps, and the joint resists hot water and chemicals. It suits rigid PVC (PVC-U), ABS, high impact polystyrene, acrylic glass (perspex), TR and EVA, bonded to themselves or to each other. It is not for parts made of PP, PE, PTFE or POM.

Use it to repair vacuum cleaners, mixers, fridges, coffee makers, hair dryers, computers, phones, phone holders, plastic toys and lamp glasses. On a car it repairs dashboards, headlights, reflectors, handles and other plastic parts, and on a motorcycle a fairing or windscreen. It also bonds sanitary installation parts, siphons, downpipes, sewer pipes and gutters, roller blinds and central vacuum systems.

Directions

• Clean the surfaces of dust and dirt, degrease them, matt them with sandpaper and let them dry.
• Apply a thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces, two coats on porous materials.
• Wait about 5 minutes for the solvent to evaporate.
• Press the surfaces firmly together and fix them for 12 hours. Once the parts are pressed together, their position can no longer be corrected.
• Work above 18 °C.
• The adhesive has a distinctive smell, so air the room after use.

Safety

Contains tetrahydrofuran and cyclohexanone. May form explosive peroxides. Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin and if inhaled. Causes skin irritation and serious eye damage, and may cause respiratory irritation. Suspected of causing cancer. Keep out of reach of children and away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces; do not smoke. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection. If inhaled, move the person to fresh air and keep them comfortable for breathing. In the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses if easy to do, and keep rinsing. Dispose of the contents and container according to the waste regulations in force.
