Liqui Moly Diesel Particulate Filter Protector 250ml

Liqui Moly Diesel Particulate Filter Protector is a diesel fuel additive for diesel engines with a particulate filter (DPF). It protects the filter and acts as a regeneration aid. The additive reduces the formation of soot particles and lowers their burn-off temperature, which helps the filter clean itself. Regular use every 2,000 km keeps the particulate filter clean, above all on frequent short city trips where a diesel engine does not reach its optimum operating temperature. The additive helps reduce exhaust emissions and keep city air cleaner.

It is for diesel vehicles with a particulate filter that have no electronically controlled additive tank system for filter regeneration (e.g. Citroën, Peugeot). Do not use it in a car that already has a factory dosing system for a similar substance, or in a vehicle with an additive-based regeneration system (EOLYS). The additive also suits HVO and XTL diesel.

Usage

• Add the contents to the fuel every 2,000 km, just before you fill up.
• One can is enough for 50-70 l of diesel.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Do not combine it with Liqui Moly Common Rail Additive, Diesel Smoke Stop or Diesel Smoke Stop C, nor with the Liqui Moly additive Smoke Stop Li5180.
