Liqui Moly Pro-Line Intake System Cleaner Diesel 400ml

Liqui Moly Pro-Line Intake System Cleaner Diesel is an active solvent with a combination of additives that removes the dirt and deposits which typically build up at the intake and the throttle valve. It loosens and removes grease residue and deposits such as oil and soot, keeps moving parts working, reduces fuel consumption and makes a diesel engine more reliable.

The cleaner is for the whole intake system, including the intake manifold and intake valves, and is for diesel engines only. You clean the system without dismantling it, and the cleaner is suitable for engines with a diesel particulate filter. Liqui Moly recommends it for preventive use during servicing.

Usage

• Once the spray head is fitted to the can, do not remove it again.
• Choose an access point downstream of the air flow meter, turbocharger and charge air cooler, where possible directly in front of the intake manifold.
• Spray through the probe in short bursts of 2-3 seconds at a minimum of 2,000 revolutions per minute, moving the probe back and forth.
• If the engine speed rises by more than 1,000 revolutions per minute, stop spraying at once.
• Keep the cleaner away from the air flow meter and painted parts.
• For stubborn deposits, repeat the cleaning with a second can.
• After use, let the engine run for about 20 seconds at a minimum of 2,000 revolutions per minute to burn off residues.
• If the engine will not hold its speed or start with the intake pipe removed, disconnect the air flow meter plug with the ignition off. After cleaning, delete the stored fault and re-teach the air flow meter if necessary.
