Valvoline Diesel System Cleaner 300ml

Valvoline Diesel System Cleaner is a concentrated cleaner for all diesel engines in passenger cars. It cleans both electronically and mechanically controlled injectors, removes harmful deposits and leaves the injection system clean. Combustion improves, the engine smokes less and lost power comes back.

Use it once a year as preventive maintenance, or before adjustment work or an emission test. One 300 ml bottle is meant for an engine of up to 3000 cc.

When to use

• Emission readings are off.
• There is a lot of soot.
• The injection system has been adjusted.
• Engine power has dropped and fuel consumption has risen.

Cleaning through the fuel tank

Add the 300 ml bottle to 30 litres of fuel in the tank, start the engine and take a test drive, if you can about 30 km of steady highway driving. After the test drive, fill the tank up. With more fuel in the tank the cleaning takes longer, so make the test drive longer too.

Cleaning through the fuel filter

Take a new fuel filter that suits your vehicle, fill it with the cleaner and fit it. Pour the rest of the bottle into the fuel tank. Bleed the air from the system, start the engine and run it at varying speeds for about 10 minutes, up to 2000 rpm.
