Liqui Moly Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Purge particulate filter flushing agent

Liqui Moly Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Purge is the flushing and neutralising liquid you need after cleaning a diesel particulate filter with the Pro-Line diesel particulate filter cleaner without removing the filter. It flushes out the soot the cleaner has softened and distributes it in the filter so that it burns off during normal regeneration. It also neutralises the cleaner.

Usage

You need the DPF pressure tank spray gun (part no. 7946) and the DPF probe with five exchangeable tips (part no. 7945). Create access to the particulate filter as the vehicle requires: on most vehicles this means removing the filter's temperature or pressure sensor. The particulate filter must be below 40 °C during cleaning. On some vehicles the filter sits near the exhaust manifold or the turbocharger rather than under the floor: there, take particular care that no cleaning or flushing liquid gets into the combustion chamber through an open exhaust valve. Insert the Pro-Line probe that suits the vehicle into the filter through the opening. Spray the whole quantity of cleaner (1 l) directly onto the filter surface at a working pressure of 6-8 bar, in several bursts of 5-10 seconds with pauses of 5-10 seconds, turning the probe and moving it back and forth to cover as much of the surface as you can. Leave it to act for about 15 minutes. Then flush the filter with the whole 500 ml of flushing agent, with the same spray gun and the same intervals. After the sensor is refitted, the workshop starts a regeneration as the vehicle maker specifies. The protective measures for handling the product are in the safety data sheet.
