Liqui Moly Catalytic-System Cleaner catalytic converter cleaning additive 300ml

Liqui Moly Catalytic-System Cleaner is a catalytic converter cleaner for petrol engines that you spray into the intake tract of the running engine rather than pour into the fuel tank. It cleans the intake tract, the intake valves and the combustion chamber, protects the catalytic converter from clogging with soot and prevents corrosion in the fuel system. It suits all petrol engines with a catalytic converter. It cannot remove deposits in the catalytic converter based on manganese oxide.

How to use

• Pour the additive into the Liqui Moly Pump-spray Bottle (part no. 3316) and pump up the pressure.
• Make an access point to the intake tract, ideally behind the turbocharger. The access must sit immediately behind the air mass sensor.
• Start the engine and spray the additive into the intake tract in short bursts at medium engine speed (2000-3000 rpm).
• If the engine speed does not fluctuate, you can lengthen the intervals between bursts. If it fluctuates sharply (more than 700 rpm), shorten the spray duration.
• For accurate spraying, check regularly that the bottle holds enough pressure.
• For optimal cleaning of the fuel system, add Liqui Moly Catalytic-System Clean (part no. 7110) to the fuel right after the treatment.
