Valvoline Cooling System Cleaner 250ml

Valvoline Cooling System Cleaner is a cleaning concentrate for flushing the inside of radiators and heat exchange systems. It removes sediment, corrosion residues, mud and sludge, removes and binds grease, oil and fat residues, and carries the dirt out of the cooling system with the circulating liquid. You need no special equipment.

It suits diesel, gas and petrol engines as well as other cooling and heat exchange systems. Use it when you change the coolant and want to raise the radiator's cooling capacity, remove deposits from the cooling system, or clean out engine oil contamination, for example after a head gasket change or an engine repair.

How to use

• Drain the old coolant and fill the whole cooling system with clean tap water.
• Add 250 ml of Valvoline Cooling System Cleaner to the radiator.
• Run the engine at idle at operating temperature for 30 minutes.
• Drain all the dirty liquid from the system. If the system is heavily contaminated, repeat the procedure as needed.
• Rinse the system with clean water.
• Fill the system with a technically suitable coolant, then check that the system is tight and the vent hoses are in good order.

If oil has got into the cooling system, replace the system's rubber parts as a precaution, because oil damages rubber.
