Technicqll Adhesive for fabric 20ml

Technicqll Adhesive for Fabric is an elastic latex-based adhesive for bonding and repairing many types of fabric permanently and firmly. You can use it to laminate curtains, repair tarpaulins, torn umbrellas and furniture upholstery, put patches on worn clothing, bond fabric edges and attach decorative appliques. It leaves a clear, transparent bond and does not stiffen the fabric after washing.

After full curing you can wash the bonded material at up to 60 °C, steam-press it and clean it. Under UV radiation the joint may turn yellow, so do not use the adhesive on white or translucent fabrics. It is not suitable for thin fabrics or imitation leather either.

How to use

• Use the adhesive at room temperature. The surfaces must be clean and dry.
• Apply the adhesive to both surfaces and spread it evenly with a spatula or a short-bristle brush. It should cover the whole area you are repairing, edges and corners included.
• Wait 10-15 minutes (at 18 °C) until the adhesive is dry to the touch.
• Join the materials and press them firmly together for about 2 minutes. Smooth them and iron them, with the iron set for the type of fabric.
• The initial bond forms after 30 minutes, full strength after 12 hours.
• Remove glue stains mechanically with a cotton cloth soaked in white spirit.
