Technicqll adhesive sealant 20ml

Technicqll MS-Polymer Gel is a one-component adhesive and sealant based on silane-modified polymers (MS polymer). It cures transparent, so the joint or seal stays invisible. It contains no solvents or isocyanates, is odourless and non-corrosive. Once cured it stays elastic and does not shrink, crack or harden. The joint withstands vibration and impact, is UV-resistant and weatherproof, and suits indoor and outdoor work. The thixotropic paste does not run or sag and is suitable for delicate substrates.

It bonds to primed, painted and bare metal, zinc coatings, galvanised, stainless and enamelled steel, aluminium, copper, brass, lead and powder-coated metal, glass, mirrors, sanitary ceramics, porcelain, glazed and enamelled surfaces, plaster, building ceramics and concrete (damp concrete too), natural stone, sandstone, granite and marble, wood, impregnated wood, cork, MDF, HDF and chipboard, and most plastics, including epoxy, polyester, polystyrene and rigid PVC. Do not use it for joints with Teflon (PTFE), PP or PE.

Use it to seal boats, ships, cars and caravans, to bond and seal weld seams, flange joints and welded joints in the transport industry, to fix trim and cover strips, badges, handles and emblems, to seal shop windows and display cases, and to bond stone kitchen worktops.

Bonding

• Work at +5 °C to +30 °C, for both the air and the substrate.
• Apply the adhesive to one surface and spread it evenly.
• Press the parts together. You can still correct their position for 5 minutes.
• Hold the joint with a clamp or a heavy object for about 2 hours. On vertical surfaces, support the part while the adhesive dries.
• The joint reaches full strength after 24 hours.

Sealing

• Put masking tape on both sides of the area to be sealed to keep the edges even.
• Apply the sealant and shape it. Smooth it with a spatula dipped in water with a little soap.
• Remove the masking tape after about 10 minutes.

Cleaning

Remove fresh dirt with soapy water or extraction naphtha, and cured adhesive with a knife or a spatula.
