Technicqll epoxy adhesive "liquid metal" 300kg 2x12ml

Technicqll Epoxy Metal 300kg is an epoxy adhesive for bonding metals damaged by corrosion, friction and cavitation, and for repairing parts of equipment that works in severe conditions. It is modified with powdered light-metal alloys and bonds all metals and their alloys. 1 cm² of bonded surface carries up to 300 kg.

The adhesive is also called "liquid metal": it conducts heat, and once it has reached working strength you can paint, machine, drill, tap or saw it in the same way as solid metal. It resists weather, temperature, dilute acids and bases, most solvents and technical fluids.

Uses

• Damaged metalwork such as castings, pipes, valves and engines
• Sealing cast iron, cast steel and non-ferrous alloy castings
• Rebuilding worn bearing seats, splines, threads and guides
• Sealing fuel tanks, heat exchangers such as radiators, oil pans and engine blocks

Suitable materials

• All metals and their alloys, including aluminium, stainless steel, iron, cast iron, bronze and brass
• Glass, wood, stone, ceramics, porcelain, concrete, brick
• Plastics (except PP, PE and PTFE)

Do not use

• For bonding PP, PE and PTFE

How to use

• The surfaces must be clean (sand them, for example), with all oil and grease removed.
• Squeeze the amount of adhesive and hardener you need from the syringe at 1:1 by volume and mix until the colour is even.
• Apply the mix to one of the surfaces and press the surfaces firmly together if needed.
• Hold the bonded parts still for 3-4 hours, under pressure if needed.

• IF ON SKIN (or hair): take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower.
• IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• Avoid release to the environment.
• Dispose of the contents and container in line with the waste regulations in force.
