Tetrosyl exhaust assembly paste 120g

Carplan Fire Putty is a heat-resistant exhaust assembly paste for sealing the pipe joints when you fit a silencer. You can also use it to seal and assemble exhaust parts and to repair burnt-through spots in manifold gaskets.

The paste withstands up to 1000 °C and can be used on all exhaust systems, as well as on flues and boiler pipes. It sets hard as it heats up.

How to use

• Remove loose rust, dirt and grease from the pipes and gaskets.
• Smear the paste over the surfaces to be joined.
• Join the pipes.
• Press paste into cracks and openings so that the joint seals.
• Tighten the silencer clamps.
• The paste hardens as the silencer warms up.
