Liqui Moly Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner throttle body cleaner

Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner from Liqui Moly is an active solvent for the dirt and deposits that build up in the intake system and around the throttle valve. It dissolves and removes oil, resin and adhesive residues, and also cleans injectors and internal parts. It keeps moving parts working and increases the reliability of petrol engines.

Usage

Give yourself direct access to the throttle valve and start the engine. Spray the cleaner through the spray tube across the whole throttle valve in 2-3 second intervals at 2000 revs or more. If the engine cannot hold its speed with the intake hose removed, or will not start, disconnect the air mass meter plug with the ignition off. In that case, clear the fault stored in the engine control unit with a suitable diagnostic device after cleaning and, if needed, re-adapt the air mass meter. If the speed fluctuates by more than 1000 revs while you spray, shorten the spray intervals. Keep the cleaner off the air mass meter and painted parts. For heavy deposits on the throttle valve, intake manifold or intake valves, repeat the cleaning with a second can. After use, run the engine for about 20 seconds at 2000 revs or more so that residues left in the intake system burn off.
