Liqui Moly Screw-Retainer Medium Strength 10g

Liqui Moly Screw-Retainer Medium Strength is a medium-strength threadlocker that stops bolts and nuts from loosening unintentionally, including under vibration. It is an anaerobic adhesive: the paste cures in the absence of air. The threadlocker also seals screws and bolts and prevents leaks. You can use it on oily surfaces too, and it adheres well to vertical surfaces.

The threadlocker is for all commonly used screw and nut sizes and all grades. It is resistant to petrol, oil, water/glycol and brake fluid and works at temperatures from -60 °C to 150 °C.

Usage

• Apply the adhesive evenly to the bolts and nuts.
• On active materials such as iron, steel, copper, brass and bronze it cures quickly. On passive materials such as stainless steel, zinc, aluminium and plastics it cures very slowly.
• You can speed up curing by briefly heating the parts to 70-80 °C.
• The bottle is only filled to about 1/3 so that enough air stays inside; otherwise the adhesive could harden too early.
