Hi-Gear Cooling system ceramic sealant 444ml

Hi-Gear cooling system ceramic sealant repairs metal parts of the cooling system: cracked cylinder heads and cylinder blocks, copper, aluminium and composite radiators and heater cores. It contains ceramic fibres and can close damage of a large cross-section. It seals leaks from radiators and heater cores for good and does not impede coolant circulation.

The sealant travels with the coolant into the leak and polymerises only where it flows out: on contact with air it forms a metal-ceramic plug over the leak, and the leak stops. Its thermal expansion is close to that of metals, and the ceramic fibres are elastic.

The sealant is safe for all types of cooling systems, compatible with all coolants and can be used with water. It can stay in the cooling system indefinitely and helps prevent new leaks.

How to use

• Switch the engine off and let it cool down.
• Remove the radiator cap, shake the bottle hard and pour the contents into the radiator. If the radiator has no cap, disconnect the upper cooling system hose, pour the product in through the radiator's upper pipe and reconnect the hose.
• Bring the coolant to the specified level.
• Open the heater valve fully, if the cooling system has one.
• Start the engine and warm it up at idle at 2000-3000 rpm for 5-7 minutes.
• Switch the engine off and let it cool down.
• Top up the coolant to the required level and use the vehicle as usual.

Warning

• Do not open the radiator cap on a hot engine: it is dangerous.
