Tetrosyl Blue sealant 42g

Carplan Gastite Blue is a non-hardening sealant and jointing compound for sealing gasketed joints and metal joints. You can use it with all types of gaskets and metals: on cylinder heads, sumps, pumps, gearboxes, axles and hydraulics. It replaces pre-formed cork, felt, paper, rubber and asbestos gaskets.

The sealant resists petrol, diesel, oil, water, steam and coolant and withstands temperatures from -40 to +150 °C. Because it does not harden, you get a longer working time, it holds gaskets in place during assembly, and later the parts come apart quickly and easily.

How to use

• Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease, rust and dirt.
• Remove the cap and apply the sealant evenly to both mating surfaces.
• Join the surfaces and wipe off any excess with cellulose thinners.
• Refit the cap after use.
