ROOKS Compression tester ZS 0-70 bar

The ROOKS OK-02.4002 is a compression tester for diesel (compression-ignition) engines. Measuring the compression pressure shows whether the engine has worn rings, leaking valves or a problem with the cylinder head gasket. It is meant for car service shops and mechanics' workshops, and for car owners who check and maintain their own vehicle.

The large gauge has a dual bar and PSI scale and a rubber guard, and reads 0-70 bar / 0-1000 PSI. You connect the tester to the combustion chamber through the glow plug or injector port: the set has 14 adapters for these ports and fits most common car and commercial vehicle makes. The flexible hose, about 40 cm long, has a quick coupling for the adapters and reaches ports set deep in the engine. With the release valve you zero the pressure after a measurement, then repeat it or move on to the next cylinder. Everything is stored in a carrying case.
