ROOKS Compression tester ZI 0-20 bar

The ROOKS OK-02.4000 is a compression tester for petrol (spark-ignition) engines in cars, motorcycles and lawn mowers. Measuring the compression pressure shows whether the engine has worn piston rings, leaking valves or a damaged cylinder head gasket. Reach for it when the engine has lost power, idles unevenly, uses more oil or fuel than before or is hard to start in the morning, and for a periodic check of the engine's condition.

The analogue gauge has a 63 mm dial with a dual bar and PSI scale and reads 0-20 bar / 0-300 PSI. With the pressure release valve you repeat a measurement without taking the tester apart. Four brass thread adapters fit M10, M12, M14 and M18 spark plug threads, and the flexible hose and the two rigid extensions reach spark plug holes set deep in the engine. Everything is stored in a plastic carrying case.
