Technicqll waterproof polyurethane wood glue D4 70ml

Technicqll Wood Glue Polyurethane D4 is a ready-to-use, single-component polyurethane construction adhesive with moisture resistance class D4. It adheres to all kinds of wood, exotic and resinous wood such as pine and larch included, to wood-based materials and to metal, glass, plastic and most building materials. The glue contains microfibres that reinforce the joint, it bonds damp wood and it does not dull your tools.

The glue is made for wood that is exposed to water and moisture: stairs, windows, doors, mats, boat and yacht parts, garden structures and terrace furniture. As it dries, the glue expands slightly and fills unevenness, cracks and gaps in the joined parts. It does not bond polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon) or polystyrene foam.

How to use

• The surfaces must be clean and free of dust and grease.
• Use the glue above 15°C. The recommended conditions are 20°C, 60-70% air humidity and a wood moisture content above 12%.
• Moisten one surface lightly with water, 10 to 20 ml/m2, which speeds up drying. Exotic and resinous wood is not moistened.
• Spread the glue on the other surface with a brush or a small toothed spatula and join the parts within 15 minutes at most.
• Press the parts firmly together, at a pressure of at least 1-5 kG/cm2, and keep them clamped until the glue has cured. The initial setting takes 4-5 h.
• On exotic and resinous wood, sand and degrease the surfaces and apply glue to both of them.
• Clean your tools with spirit or acetone before the glue cures. Cured glue can only be removed mechanically.

• IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• Store in a well-ventilated place and keep cool.
