Liqui Moly air flow sensor (MAF) cleaner 200ml

Liqui Moly Air Flow Sensor Cleaner is a spray cleaner for the mass air flow (MAF) sensor of petrol and diesel engines. An air flow sensor often stops working properly because its hot wire or hot plate is dirty. A faulty sensor and the wrong fuel mixture that follows cause poor starting, loss of power and higher fuel consumption, and on vehicles with an automatic transmission a dirty sensor can also cause shifting problems. The cleaner removes contaminants from the sensor's hot wire or hot plate and evaporates without leaving residue. Cleaning often saves you replacing the sensor.

Usage

• Disconnect the sensor's electrical connection and remove the sensor.
• Do not touch the sensitive components of the sensor.
• Let the solvent dry completely before installation.
• Cleaning is recommended every time the air filter is replaced or when problems arise.
• Before using it on solvent-sensitive plastics, especially mechanically loaded parts, test for compatibility.

• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Avoid breathing vapours or spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• Wear protective gloves and eye protection or face protection.
• IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell. If medical advice is needed, have the product container or label at hand.
• Protect from sunlight. Do not store above 50 °C.
• Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local waste regulations.
