Motip bitumen undercoating aerosol 500ml

Motip Bitumen Undercoating is a bitumen mastic in a 0.5 l aerosol. It protects the underbody and chassis of cars, trucks, caravans, containers and boats against corrosion, road salt and moisture.

The mastic forms a dense, elastic layer that keeps its properties in both cold and hot climates. The layer insulates sound and resists weak acids and bases.

Use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease; remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
• The aerosol should be at room temperature. Shake it for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
• Keep a spray distance of 25-30 cm and apply the mastic in several layers.
• After use, clean the valve: turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.

Safety

• Extremely flammable aerosol. The container is under pressure and may burst when heated.
• Do not store above 50 °C and keep out of sunlight.
• Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Do not smoke and do not spray onto flames.
• Do not breathe the spray. May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
• Causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation.
• Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
• Keep out of reach of children. If you need medical advice, have the product container or label at hand.
• Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Contains: hydrocarbons C6-C7, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics (<5% n-hexane); hydrocarbons C7-C9, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics; acetone; hydrocarbons C9, aromatics.
