Motip 1K primer filler grey 500ml

Motip 1K Primer Filler is a fast-drying universal 1K primer that gives corrosion protection, adhesion and filling properties. It adheres to all metal surfaces and suits pre-treatment or filling small imperfections on sheet steel, galvanised sheet steel and aluminium, treated or untreated.

Depending on the coat thickness it works as a protective primer or as a filler, and it is especially suited to spot repair. You can apply it wet-on-wet, and sand it wet or dry from grit size 400. It is weldable and works with standard water-based paint coatings and 1K and 2K top coats.

Use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease.
• Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
• Recommended processing temperature: 10-25 °C.
• Shake the can for 2 minutes and spray a test patch.
• Spray from about 15-20 cm and apply in several thin layers.
• Shake the can again before each next layer.
• After use, clean the valve: turn the can upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
