Moje Auto Cold weld compound, fast-curing epoxy steel, up to 150 °C

Moje Auto cold weld compound is a two-part epoxy steel in two tubes, for gluing and repair jobs in car repair. It withstands temperatures up to 150 °C, and once hardened the joint can be sawn, drilled or threaded. The pack holds 56 g, and the directions for use and the safety information are printed on it.

Moje Auto is the car chemicals brand of the Polish maker Amtra, and MA Professional is its workshop line.

Use

• Clean the surfaces to be repaired of oil, dirt and grease, then degrease and dry them.
• For a better result, roughen the surface with sandpaper or a file.
• Squeeze equal amounts from both tubes and mix them thoroughly until the colour is an even grey.
• Apply the mixed compound to the repair area straight away. Note: the temperature of the compound rises sharply as it hardens.
• When joining two parts, press them together for about 10 minutes. Below 5 °C, hardening takes longer.
• Remove excess compound with a paper towel or cloth moistened with solvent.
• Once hardened, the joint can be worked by machine or by hand, for example sawn, drilled or threaded.
