Loctite MR 5922 gasket repair paste 60ml

Loctite MR 5922 is a black, viscous, solvent-based gasket repair paste that dries slowly. As the solvent evaporates, it turns into an easily workable, non-hardening film that stays permanently elastic. It seals flanges, fittings, connections and flexible assemblies and protects them against leaks.

Use it to make precut cork, metal, plastic and rubber gaskets in non-rigid joints more reliable, and to repair damaged precut gaskets.

Safety

• Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.
• Avoid breathing dust, fume, gas, mist, vapours or spray. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling.
• Do not take contaminated work clothing out of the workplace. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
• Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection, and respiratory protection.
• If on skin: wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or a rash occurs: get medical advice.
• If inhaled: move the person to fresh air and keep them at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If you have respiratory symptoms: call a poison centre or doctor.
• If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, and keep rinsing. If eye irritation persists: get medical advice.
• Dispose of the contents and container in line with local waste rules.
