Description

Technicqll liquid epoxy enamel is an epoxy-resin based liquid ceramic in a syringe for repairing cracks, scratches and other defects on white enamel, ceramic, acrylic and lacquered surfaces. The two components are mixed 1:1. The enamel adheres to all materials except polyethylene and polypropylene, resists cleaning agents and detergents, and can be sanded once it has cured.

The kit holds the syringe of enamel, a protective sticker and polyethylene film. Cured enamel can only be removed mechanically.

Uses

  • Sanitary ware: baths, washbasins, urinals, shower trays, cisterns and sinks
  • Washing machines, refrigerators and gas cookers
  • Filling defects in lacquered furniture and in tiles

Do not use

  • For repairing enamelled pots
  • For bonding or filling PP, PE and PTFE

How to use

  • Clean the area of rust and loose old coating, degrease it and let it dry.
  • Break the tip off the syringe nozzle and remove the guard between the plungers. Squeeze a little enamel onto a sheet of paper to push out air bubbles.
  • Cut a hole the size of the repair in the white protective sticker and stick it onto the surface.
  • Squeeze out the amount you need and mix the components thoroughly with a spoon for at least 2 minutes.
  • Apply the mix to the repair, spread it evenly and take off the excess so the surface stays level.
  • Once the mix is applied, remove the protective sticker.
  • For a smooth, glossy surface, lay the polyethylene film on the uncured enamel and smooth it gently. Remove the film once the enamel has fully cured.
  • Fill scratches and small cracks with a sharp stick, such as a toothpick.
  • On vertical surfaces apply the enamel in thin layers so it does not run. Apply the next layer once the previous one has cured, at intervals of about 3 hours.
  • Wash the repaired item with detergents no earlier than 7 days after the repair.
