Description
The Laser Tools Timing Chain Kit is made for the MINI B38 and B48 and the BMW B38, B48 and B58 petrol engines. It contains the camshaft and crankshaft holding tools and the flywheel alignment tool, for vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions. Use it in accordance with the OEM instructions.
The Laser Timing Chain Pre-Tensioner Tool, art. no. 5153, may also be required. Work on the balance shafts may need an additional kit: Laser art. no. 7253 (B38 engines) or art. no. 6840 (B48 engines). For the 22 mm x 16 point splined VANOS adjuster socket, see Laser art. no. 7429. The kit is made in Sheffield.
