Description

The Laser Tools Engine Timing Kit is for Mercedes-Benz 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0L chain driven petrol engines, hybrid versions included. It locks and holds the camshafts in their timed position while you replace the timing chain or service the engine.

To lock the flywheel, use Laser 7271 on the 264.xxx and 274.xxx rear wheel drive engines and Laser 8071 on the 270.xxx and 133.xxx front wheel drive engines. For the T100 security bolts that hold the camshaft sprockets, use the Laser Impact Tamperproof Socket Bit 7514.

Use the kit in accordance with the OEM instructions and observe all tightening torques. The kit is an EU registered design and is made in Sheffield.
