Laser Tools Timing belt checking gauge - PSA

The Laser Tools Timing Belt Checking Gauge lets you assess the timing belt on 3-cylinder wet belted engines in PSA Group and Vauxhall/Opel vehicles. Use it to check the belt tension, swelling and general condition before you strip the engine and replace the belt, before the auxiliary drive belts and cam belt covers come off. The gauge is designed to be used with the camshaft cover removed.

Place the gauge across the width of the belt. If it does not sit comfortably on the belt, the belt has swollen and must be replaced. Use the gauge in accordance with the OEM instructions. For the belt replacement, use the Laser Tools Engine Timing Kit, part no. 6200.
