Description
The Laser Tools Engine Timing Kit is for the 1.2 litre wet belt petrol engines in Citroën, Peugeot and Opel vehicles. It was developed for the late model EB2 turbocharged engines, where you reach the camshaft alignment features from the top after removing the plastic cam cover and the vacuum pump. The kit locks the camshafts in their timed position so you can remove and replace the cambelt or check the engine timing.
The kit is designed for engines with the split plastic cam cover. To check the belt for swelling, use the Laser Tools timing belt checking gauge, Laser Part No. 8207. For the 1.0 and 1.2 L non-turbo engines, use the Laser engine timing kit, Laser Part No. 6200. Use the kit in accordance with the OEM instructions.
