Description
The Laser Tools engine timing adaptor kit adapts the Laser 8900/9155 engine timing kit to the earlier VW Group 1.0 L and 1.6 L MPi and TSi petrol engines, so you can align, set and check the camshaft timing. With the adaptors you set the camshaft timing using the battery powered digital inclinometer and mounting bracket from the 8900/9155 kit. When you follow the Laser Tools procedure, you do not need to work with the vehicle's OBD system.
Use the kit only together with the Laser 8900 or 9155 kit and in accordance with the Laser Tools 8900, 9133 and 9155 instructions. When you loosen or tighten the camshaft pulleys, use camshaft pulley holding tools (Laser Part No. 9132 or 7279 and 8421).
