KB Global CO2 combustion leak tester for cooling system and cylinder head gasket leaks (without fluid)

The KB Global CO2 combustion leak tester lets you diagnose a damaged cylinder head gasket easily and quickly. When the head gasket or the cylinder head itself is damaged, part of the exhaust gas, which contains CO2 among other gases, gets into the cooling system. The tester works by measuring the CO2 content in the cooling system: the reaction fluid in the tester chamber reacts with the gases drawn from the cooling system and changes colour when the CO2 content is raised.

The tester has two chambers with a filter between them. Residues such as coolant droplets stay in the first chamber, where they cannot distort the test result. The connection ends in a quick coupling, which gives a tight connection and so a more accurate measurement. The reaction fluid can be used several times as long as it has not changed colour and no coolant has got into it. The tester is sold without fluid.
