K2 Sanitary silicone clear 300 ml Silo

K2 Silo is a clear sanitary silicone for sealing joints in kitchens, bathrooms and around glass elements, where the joint should stay unnoticed. Once cured, it withstands temperatures from -40 °C to +180 °C.

Applications

• shower cabins, bathtubs and washbasins
• sinks and kitchen worktops
• joints of glass, ceramics, PVC and metal

Use

• Clean and degrease the joint surfaces, remove any old silicone and dry the area completely.
• Mask the edges of the joint with painter's tape.
• Insert the cartridge into a caulking gun and cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to match the joint width.
• Apply the silicone evenly along the joint.
• Smooth the joint within 5-10 minutes with a spatula or a finger moistened with soapy water.

The silicone cures fully in 24 hours at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity.
