Description

A nine-part Dunlop kit for removing fine scratches from normal and metallic paint. You can use it on cars, motorcycles, boats and caravans. The kit works in two steps: REPAIR (no. 1) takes out the scratch and FINISH (no. 2) brings back the gloss.

How to use

  • Step 1: apply REPAIR (no. 1) to the scratch and polish it with a clean cotton cloth at the right angle for about 1-2 minutes. Wipe off the residue with a damp cloth.
  • Step 2: apply FINISH (no. 2) to the treated area and polish it to a gloss.
  • Deep scratches: wet the surface with water and sand it with the 3000 grit sanding strip for no more than 15 seconds. Do not sand down to the primer. Then do steps 1 and 2.
  • Light scratches and scratch-resistant paints (nano paint): use FINISH (no. 2) only.

Note

  • The kit is not for very deep scratches that reach the primer. For those, use a matching touch-up paint first.
  • Test the product first on an area that does not show.
  • Do not use it on polycarbonate (PC), for example on headlights.
