Description
The D-Fruit DF179 is a portable EV charger for charging your car at home, in the garage, at work or on the road. Its Type-2 plug fits the electric cars sold in Europe. On the three-phase CEE (red) plug it charges at up to 11 kW, and the single-phase CEE to Schuko adapter in the box lets you charge from an ordinary household socket as well.
You control the charger over WiFi from the Tuya Smart app: set charging schedules, follow charging sessions and get notified of faults. The app also manages several devices at once. During charging the LED display shows the temperature, charging time, voltage and the current in real time. Charging starts automatically when you connect the Type 2 plug to the car. When charging is finished, unplug it from the car.
A wall mount for the charger and a cable holder are included, so you can wind the cable up on the wall. That keeps the charger and cable out of the way of damage and dirt when they are not in use.
