Carplan touch-up paint pen, dark blue

The Carplan touch-up paint pen in dark blue is for covering scratches and stone chips in car paintwork, and it suits all paint finishes. It hides visible scratches and paint damage and helps protect the damaged spot from oxidation and corrosion. The pen comes in seven colours.

This is not a permanent repair.

How to use

• Wash the car with car shampoo and dry it thoroughly.
• Degrease the damaged area with a petroleum-based solvent.
• Apply the pen with enough pressure, following the shape of the damaged area.
• Scratches: move the pen back and forth at a 90-degree angle along the whole length of the scratch.
• Stone chips: work from the centre outwards in circular movements until the chip is fully covered, its edges included.
• Afterwards, polish the area with a soft clean cloth to remove the wax residue from the paint.

Safety and storage

• Not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
• If you need medical advice, have the pack or label at hand.
• Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
• Shelf life: 5 years from the date printed on the pack.
