Bosch BCB 5524 (HV) battery cell balancer

The Bosch BCB 5524 equalises the voltage of the cells in electric-vehicle battery packs. It is meant above all for packs whose cells show large voltage differences: it brings the connected cells to the same voltage, based on the target voltage you set. It suits workshops that specialise in servicing electric-vehicle batteries.

As soon as you connect it, the BCB 5524 checks the cell and cable connections by voltage detection. It works with different lithium battery types, balances single cells as well as independent channels, and monitors battery voltage, current and temperature in real time. The software comes pre-installed with a guided start-up, so nothing needs installing. An emergency stop button cuts the current at once, and the unit is protected against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overheating. You can create, export and print detailed charge and discharge reports to share the analysis data.
