Autotools hammer-on wheel weight for steel rims STD-S 30g coated 100pcs

STD-S is a zinc hammer-on balance weight for steel rims, for balancing the wheels of passenger cars, SUVs and vans. The STD type weight fits almost all steel rims of vehicles up to 3.5 t and is held on the rim by a spring clip. A powder paint coating protects it against corrosion.

According to the maker, zinc weights are the only ones permitted on passenger cars and vans up to 3.5 t GVW in Western Europe, as set out in Directive 2005/673/EC. For professional use only.

Fitting

• Remove the old hammer-on weights first.
• Use a suitable tool for removal and fitting so you do not damage the rim.
• Choose the weight by the balancer's reading.
• Hold the weight next to the rim flange to check the flange shape.
• Before you strike, make sure the spring clip touches the rim flange properly.
• Strike the spring clip twice with a suitable tool. More strikes can damage the weight's protective coating.
• Check the seating: grip the weight with two fingers and try to move it.
