Tetrosyl Copper grease tin 500g

Carlube Multi Purpose Copper Grease is a lead-free, multi-purpose copper assembly grease and anti-seize compound. Apply it to the threads of nuts and bolts before assembly so they come apart easily later. It helps wherever connections are opened and fastened often, and eases dismantling where metal pickup can occur.

The base is a non-melting grease with a blend of heat-resistant solids and low-shear metals. It forms a dense, water-resistant protective layer that does not dissolve or burn and protects metal surfaces against seizing and corrosion. It also reduces brake pad squeal when you brake.

• exhaust manifold bolts and nuts, exhaust clamps
• flanges
• wheel bolts, nuts and studs
• injector washers
• battery terminals
• spark plugs and their threads
• brake calipers and their parts, disc brake pads (metal surfaces only)
• propshaft universal joints
• leaf springs
• sliding door rails

On brakes, apply the grease only to the metal surfaces of the caliper and the brake pads.
