ROOKS electronic battery charger Expert Supply 12V 100A 1000Ah

The ROOKS EXPERT SUPPLY (OK-03.0032) is an electronic 12 V battery charger that also works as a buffer power supply. You use it to charge batteries and to hold the vehicle's voltage steady during service and diagnostic work: when you replace the battery without losing stored data, run diagnostics, code control units or test the electrical system. It is meant for car workshops, auto electrical services, diagnostic stations and fleet service.

The charging current is adjustable to 5, 10, 30, 50, 60 or 100 A, and the charger handles ACID STD, AGM, GEL, CA, EFB and LiFePo / LFP batteries of up to 1000 Ah in cars, vans, trucks, motorcycles, machines, boats and specialist vehicles. In supply mode it delivers 12-14.9 V at 100 A, with 13.6 V as the default voltage, and you can adjust the output parameters. The alternator test shows the voltage in real time and reports OK for 13.3-15.5 V.

Charging runs in 5 stages: pre-charge at low current, soft start, fast charging at constant current, absorption at constant voltage and rest after full charge. The charger adapts the process to the battery's condition, checks whether the battery can be charged and reports a wrong connection, too high a voltage, reverse polarity or a damaged battery. You choose the mode, set the current and change the parameters on the LCD panel with the HOME, RIGHT, DOWN and ENTER buttons.

ROOKS designs its workshop equipment with safety, ease of use and control over the work in mind: this charger protects against short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharging and high temperature.
