Pro-Tec DPF Catalyst Cleaner

Pro-Tec DPF Catalyst Cleaner dissolves and removes contamination and soot residues from the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and the catalyst without dismantling them. It can be used on all closed particulate filter systems and also for cleaning the EGR valve. One pack is enough for one application on one DPF or catalyst.

Check the oil level before cleaning. The engine must be at operating temperature. Shake the can well for approx. 1 minute before use. Spray the cleaner through a probe via the sensor or access port in 5-second intervals until the DPF or catalyst is filled with foam. Then restart regeneration with a workshop tester, clear the fault memory and make a test drive of about 20 minutes. If the engine oil is diluted with diesel, an oil change is necessary.

After the test drive, the maker recommends adding Pro-Tec DPF Super Clean (P6171) to the fuel tank on diesel engines and Pro-Tec OXICAT (P1180) on petrol engines.
