Motip brake caliper paint silver 400ml

Motip Brake Caliper Paint is an acrylic paint for painting brake parts, in a 400 ml aerosol can. You use it to repaint brake calipers in a new colour. It is a decorative paint for the calipers and brake drums of sports cars and motorcycles. The colour is silver, gloss.

The coat is resistant to petrol, chemicals, the weather and UV light, and does not fade. Heat resistance is up to 120 °C.

Use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust, then sand.
• Apply a layer of MOTIP primer and, after drying, sand the base layer with grit 600.
• Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a test patch.
• Spray from about 25-30 cm and apply several thin layers, shaking the aerosol again before each layer.
• Clean the valve after use: turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.

Safety

• Extremely flammable aerosol. The container is under pressure and may burst when heated.
• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and flames. Do not smoke and do not spray onto flames.
• Do not store above 50 °C. Protect from sunlight.
• Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
• Contains neodecanoic acid, cobalt salt. May produce an allergic reaction.
• Spraying may produce hazardous respirable droplets. Do not inhale the spray or mist.
• May form explosive mixtures if ventilation is insufficient. Keep out of reach of children.
• Contains: acetone, hydrocarbons C9-C11, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics.
