Motip touch-up paint 400ml

Motip Kompakt Car Paint is a lacquer in an aerosol for repairing car parts, based on original car colours. It suits repairing scratches, stone chip damage and small dents.

Technical data

• Volume: 400 ml
• Recommended processing temperature: 10 to 25 °C
• Spraying distance: 25 to 30 cm
• Sanding the base layer after drying: grain 600

Use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
• Apply a Motip primer suited to the surface. After drying, sand the base layer with grain 600.
• The aerosol should be at room temperature. Shake it for 2 minutes before use and spray a sample first.
• Spray from a distance of about 25 to 30 cm in several thin layers, and shake the aerosol again before each next layer.
• For an optimum result, apply a finishing layer of acrylic clear varnish.
• Drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer layer.
• After use, clean the valve: hold the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
