Motip touch-up paint 400ml

Motip Kompakt Car Paint is a touch-up paint for repairing car parts, in a 400 ml aerosol can. It is based on the original car colours and suits scratches, stone chip damage and small dents.

The Kompakt Car Paint range comes in 15 colours and 4 gloss types: flat mat, gloss, high gloss and semi gloss.

Use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
• Apply a Motip primer suited to the surface first, then sand the dried base layer with grain 600.
• Use the aerosol at room temperature; the recommended processing temperature is 10-25 °C.
• Shake the can for 2 minutes and spray a test patch.
• Spray from about 25-30 cm in several thin layers, shaking the can again before each layer.
• Finish with a layer of acrylic clear varnish.
• After use, clean the valve: turn the can upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
