Motip touch-up paint 400ml

Motip Kompakt Car Paint is a fast-drying lacquer for repairing car parts. It is based on the original car colours. It suits repairing scratches, stone chip damage and small dents. It comes in a 400 ml aerosol can.

The Kompakt Car Paint range has 15 colours and 4 gloss types: flat mat, gloss, high gloss and semi gloss.

How to use

• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
• First apply a Motip primer that suits the surface. Once it has dried, sand the base layer (grain 600).
• Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a test patch.
• Spray from about 25-30 cm and apply the lacquer in several thin layers. Shake the aerosol again before each layer.
• For an optimum result, finish with a layer of acrylic clear varnish.
• After use, clean the valve: turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
