Motip heat-resistant clear coat 400ml

Motip Heat Resistant Clear Coat is a heat-resistant clear lacquer in a 400 ml aerosol. It withstands temperatures up to 800 °C and can be used on treated and untreated surfaces. The coat is colourless with a matt finish and resists petrol, chemicals and weather.

How to use

• Prepare the surface: it must be clean, dry and grease-free. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface lightly.
• Do not apply a primer.
• Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a test patch before use.
• Hold the can about 25-30 cm from the surface.
• Apply the lacquer in several thin layers and shake the aerosol again before each layer.
• To harden the coat, let it dry for one hour at room temperature, then heat it for 30-60 minutes at 160 °C.
• Smoke develops while the lacquer hardens.
