Motip epoxy primer grey 400 ml

Motip Epoxy Primer is a universal 1K primer for adhesion and corrosion protection on sheet steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and anodised aluminium. Use it to repair damaged surfaces and to refinish parts.

You can apply it wet-on-wet, onto a layer that is still wet. It can be overcoated with solvent-based and water-based topcoats.

• Recommended processing temperature: 10-30 °C (aerosol at room temperature)
• Spraying distance: 15-20 cm

Application

• Degrease the surface with Motip Silicone Remover.
• Remove loose old lacquer and rust, and sand the surface.
• Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
• Apply in several thin layers, shaking the aerosol again before each layer.
• After use, clean the valve: turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for about 5 seconds.
