Moje Auto Fuel tank repair compound

Moje Auto fuel tank repair compound is a putty you knead by hand, for repairing body surfaces before painting. It cures fully in 60 minutes, and the tank can be filled with fuel again after 180 minutes. The pack holds 56 g, and the directions for use and the safety information are printed on it.

Moje Auto is the car chemicals brand of the Polish maker Amtra, and MA Professional is its workshop line.

Use

• Clean the repair area thoroughly of rust and other dirt, for example with a wire brush or sandpaper, and degrease it. This step is very important.
• Cut off a piece of compound and knead it in your hand for about 2 minutes until the colour is even. When the compound warms up, curing has begun.
• Press it onto the repair area straight away and spread it firmly, covering the damage and at least 3 cm around it.
• Initial cure takes 8-12 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature.
• Full cure takes 60 minutes. After 180 minutes the tank can be filled with fuel again.
• Repairs below 5 °C are not recommended, as curing then takes much longer.
