Milwaukee M18 B5 battery 18 V 5.0 Ah

The Milwaukee M18 B5 is a lithium-ion battery for the M18 system, rated at 18 V with a capacity of 5.0 Ah. Milwaukee states that it gives up to 2.5x more run time, up to 20% more power and up to 2x more battery life than other lithium-ion batteries or earlier Milwaukee batteries. The actual result depends on the tool and the job.

The REDLITHIUM pack has REDLINK digital overload protection, and each cell is monitored on its own while charging and discharging. A metal frame with shock responsive separators protects the pack against vibration and drops, and the water protection routes water away from the electronics and out of the pack. You can use it at temperatures down to -20 °C, and the on-board fuel gauge shows the charge level. The battery comes in blister packaging.
