Magneti Marelli Headlight aiming device Premium (bi-xenon, halogen, fog lights, laser), digital measurement

An electronic headlight aiming device from the Magneti Marelli Premium line. A camera in the optical box analyses the vehicle's headlights and the result is measured digitally. It reads halogen, xenon and bi-xenon headlights, low beam, high beam and fog lights, and handles European (right- and left-hand traffic), USA and Japan headlight types. You align it in front of the vehicle with the laser pointer.

The optical box has a 230 mm glass lens and RS232 and USB ports. The beam position deviation is checked to 1 cm/10 m. The box runs on a 170 cm swivelling column with a balanced system, so it is easy to move. The base is cast aluminium and steel with 3 adjustable wheels for aligning the unit to the floor. A printer is included.
