Laser Tools Oil Sump Drain Plug Seat Re-Surfacing Tool Kit

The Laser Tools Oil Sump Drain Plug Seat Re-Surfacing Tool Kit is for re-surfacing the drain plug seat on an oil sump. You screw the appropriate guide into the sump and re-surface the sump's seal area with the cutter.

The kit has two cutter guides: M14 x 1.5 mm for standard sump plug threads and M15 x 1.5 mm for the oversized thread. The kit is recommended for use after re-threading. For re-threading, Laser Tools recommends the Sump Plug Thread Repair Kit (product code 5227).
