Laser Tools Antifreeze tester -EG

The Laser Tools antifreeze tester -EG is a hydrometer for modern ethylene glycol antifreeze, and it also suits Organic Acid Technology (OAT) antifreeze. The number of floating discs shows the level of coolant protection. You can test on a hot or a cold engine, and the tester reads in Celsius and Fahrenheit.

A floating orange disc shows over-protection and loss of efficiency. The bulb is black, with 6 coloured discs. For propylene glycol antifreeze, use tester S183-4292.
